TIL

When random strangers are offering spanks with a Bat-signal-shaped riding crop, do NOT say you want to be spanked "very hard" because you don't have any idea what their definition of "very hard" is.

Four days later and I still have a bat-bruise!

Words! Mean! Things!

I've finally gotten around to reading The Story of O. I'm not completely done with it yet, so I won't give a detailed post on my impressions, but I do want to say this:

"Womb" does not mean "vulva" or "vagina."

"Belly" does not mean "vulva" or "vagina."

I understand wanting to use euphemistic language for the genitalia; however, don't use words that are for completely different body parts!

Seriously, what does, "He seized her womb," even mean? I imagine him grabbing her pooch - or, granting that by "womb" the author actually meant "vulva," him tugging at her labia. Neither image is particularly sexy, nor do I suspect that was what the author intended.

I am an artiste

Check out this super-hot drawing I did of me, Master, and Tapeti.

Aw yeah. So hot.

Geeky moment

Master and I have determined that he has an Aura of Dominance. I'm not sure what its Area of Effect is, but it doesn't travel through computers well. :x

In other news, it's really funny when we find out we've been crushing on the same person for some time.

For all occasions

Nothing zonks me out like an intense play session. After a scene of spanking, knife play, and bondage (among other things, but those are a few of my favorites), I always sleep like a baby.

Conversely, nothing perks me up in the morning like an energetic bout of (mostly) vanilla sex. After that, I'm ready to go face the day!

The lesson is: sex and/or BDSM is appropriate for any time of day, and you should do it as often as possible, ideally multiple times a day.

Yes indeed.

Let's put a smile on that face!

To all the radical feminists who bemoan how scary it is to be a "real" feminist, who repeat over and over (and over and over) how hard and alienating and depressing it is, who are convinced if you aren't a pariah you're not trying hard enough, who complain about the "fun feminists" who dare to crack a smile and enjoy themselves once in a while...

Why so serious?

D/s at work? O.o

My job mostly consists of repairing old computers at work and figuring out whether any of the old junk we have is still useable or not. In the course of my job, I've fiddled around with several hard drives, switching them from one tower to another and suchnot.

While I was doing this at one point, I read the labeling on the hard drive, and read the different pin settings it has: DS Master or DS slave.

LOL!

Lulz

On an unrelated note, I opened my iTunes and put it on shuffle, and the first song played was by The Kinks.

Hahaha, oh poetic irony.
